This album is a bit like putting on a favourite jumper and sitting in front of the fire on a cold night with a whisky in hand. Gorgeous. The textures from start to finish are beautifully constructed and weave seamlessly and subtly through and around the melody and chord progressions. The highlights for me are the 3 parts of the title track. Combining field recordings, lush soundscapes, delicate melodies, rich bass lines, the whole piece is stunning. It’s a great album. Highly recommended.
